ARTICLE I - NAME
- The name of this Association shall be the "Our Lady of the Angels Preparatory Home and School Association".
ARTICLE II - OBJECTIVES
The Objectives of this Association shall be:
- To help parents and teachers acquire a profound appreciation of the ideals of Christian education through talks and/or expositions at termly General Meetings.
- To promote a clearer understanding of the mutual educational responsibilities of parents and teachers, through teaching at special Grade Meetings.
- To encourage the home and school to a greater degree of co-operation in discharging their responsibilities, concerning the religious, moral and civil training of the pupils through the use of speakers.
- To help parents in studying and promoting influences and methods best suited to make effective, the guidelines and training of their children, through workshops or seminars in approaches to teaching and re-enforcements.
ARTICLE III - RESPECT YOUR SCHOOL POLICIES
The Home and School Association shall respect the established school policies and practices as set forth by the Principal of the school.
ARTICLE IV - MEMBERSHIP
Membership shall consist of the Teachers, Parents or Guardians of all registered pupils of the school.
ARTICLE V - OFFICERS
| Section 1 | The Executive Committee will constitute the elected officers - President, Vice President, Secretary, Assistant Secretary, Treasurer and Assistant Treasurer and the Principal. |
| Section 2 | These Officers shall be elected at the Annual General Meeting. |
| Section 3 | The term of office shall be one (1) year. No officer shall hold the same office for more than two (2) consecutive years. |
| Section 4 | The Executive Committee shall consist of the Elected Officers, the Principal and a maximum of (6) co-opted Floor Members selected by the Principal. A Public Relations Person and an Assistant, shall be selected from the Committee. |
ARTICLE VI - SPIRITUAL ADVISOR
The Chaplain or Priest appointed by him shall be the Spiritual Advisor.
ARTICLE VII - ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING
The Annual General Meeting of this Association shall be held in late September, or early October of each new school year. Before the General Meeting, a "getting to know you" session is to be held of all new parents and those members of the Executive Committee who are eligible for office.
ARTICLE VIII - AMENDMENTS
Any amendments of this constitution may be done by two-thirds (2/3) vote of the members present at any General Meeting of this Association, provided written notice of the proposed amendments shall have been given to the members at least thirty (30) days prior to the scheduled meeting. There shall be no voting by proxy.
Automatic grammatical, punctuation and correlation corrections in the Constitution or Amendments thereto shall be effected by the Executive Committee of the Association and ratified by the owners of the school through the School Board.

HOME SCHOOL ASSOCIATION
ARTICLE I - OFFICERS
| Section 1 | The President shall preside at the meetings of the Association and of its Executive Committee. |
| Section 2 | The Vice- President in the absence of the President, shall perform all duties of the President and such duties as are assigned to the office. |
| Section 3 | The Secretary shall keep the minutes of all meetings of the Association and of the Executive Committee. He or She shall keep a list of all members of the Executive Committee and their phone numbers and discharge such duties as are incumbent upon this office. |
| Section 4 | The Assistant Secretary shall work in close collaboration with the Secretary, assist with secretarial duties and deputize in the absence of the Secretary. There is to be a Home and School Association Account and the signatures must be the Principal and any two members of the Executive Committee. |
| Section 5 | The Treasurer shall receive all dues and other monies of the Association. Disbursal of funds must be done by cheque as directed by the Committee. The Treasurer shall keep an accurate account of all such transactions. |
| Section 6 | The Assistant Treasurer shall work in close collaboration with the Treasurer and the Deputies in the absence of the Treasurer. |
ARTICLE II - FUNDS
Membership dues in this Association shall be determined by the membership at the Annual General Meeting of the Association as deemed necessary from time to time. This agreed amount shall be payable per year, per family. As this is a Non-Profit Association, all funds obtained from the fund raising or any other source are solely for the benefit of the School.
ARTICLE III - EXECUTIVE COMMITTEE
The Executive Committee shall consist of the President, Vice-President, Secretary, Assistant Secretary, Treasurer, Assistant Treasurer the Principal and six (6) selected Floor Members.
ARTICLE IV - MANAGING COMMITTEE
The Principal, a member of the Home and School Association and the Spiritual Advisor shall serve as members of the Managing Committee. These persons shall have full responsibilities for the Association's business affairs.
ARTICLE V - MEETINGS
| Section 1 | The regular meeting of the Association shall be held at least once during the school term. |
| Section 2 | Any member of the Executive Committee missing three (3) consecutive Executive Meetings without reasonable cause or excuse will automatically be replaced. The Executive Committee reserves the right to appoint a substitute. |
ARTICLE VI - COMMITTEES
Special Committees, in keeping with the Association's objectives, may be appointed by the President with the approval of the Executive Committee.
ARTICLE VII - ELECTION OF OFFICERS
Officers shall be elected at the Annual General Meeting by the majority vote.
ARTICLE VIII - QUORUM
| Section 1 | The quorum of the General Meeting of the Association shall be one-quarter (1/4) of the membership. |
| Section 2 | The quorum of the Executive Committee shall be six (6) members. |
ARTICLE IX - AMENDMENTS
